Mr. Chengfeng Shi, a master of oil painting, was born in 1937 in Tangyin County, Henan Province, China. He is a renowned oil painter and calligrapher. In 1958, he was admitted to the Fine Arts Department of Beijing Normal University of Arts and the Acting Class of Beijing People's Art Theatre, marking the beginning of his long-term commitment to the field of fine arts and culture. Mr. Shi currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Beijing Oil Painting Society, a Director of the Xu Beihong Art Committee, and a Special Professor at the Chinese Academy of Future Studies' Institute of Famous Calligraphers and Painters. He has also been recognized as a National Senior Artist.

Throughout his sixty-year artistic career, Mr. Shi has delved deeply into the essence of both Chinese and Western art, mastering calligraphy and oil painting. His works span landscapes, flowers, and still lifes, combining the essence of Western oil painting with the charm of Eastern culture, resulting in a unique artistic style and aesthetic appeal. Notably, his Great Wall landscape oil painting series, which employs a blend of Chinese and Western techniques, has been highly acclaimed.

Since the 1950s, Mr. Shi's Great Wall landscapes and other oil paintings have been collected by the Hammer Gallery in the United States and numerous international friends, earning him international fame and establishing him as a renowned oil painter.
